Our Story

After creating a life in the busy city of Calgary, AB we learned that our passion did not lay in the careers we had created for ourselves, but instead in nature. We sold our house and belongings and moved into an old camper and hit the road. We landed on a farm in BC, where we spent our summer learning how to grow food naturally. With the knowledge we gained from our summer on Salt Spring Island, we hit the road again to start our own farm in Cape Breton, NS. Our goal is to live harmoniously with our surroundings, growing food and natural medicines for ourselves and our community. We invite work-traders/wwoofers, and people looking for a similar experience to join us on our 100 acres in Cape Breton. Hippies welcome!
