We are loving how well the kids are getting along with their purchases from The Backdrop as the 4H achievement days commence! Congratulations to Colten Downing on his Interclub Champion Yearling Heifer with Ty-D’s Tweetie 9N! He drug her around to some junior shows and has done a wonderful job with her!

We may or may not be currently having a marital dispute on whether we should offer her maternal sister sired by Ty-D’s North Face in this fall’s sale 😂

We love updates like these!

“I’ve been meaning to give you an update on my Ella heifers. I just love them, honestly they’ve turned out so great. They are so good footed, they are standouts just in that way alone. But they have also grown to a really nice size, they’re tanky and powerful, very quiet, great hair. Before I bought the Ella embryos from you, I spent $3300 a piece on some embryos from an “elite donor”. Those embryos were also sired by Caliber like my Ella’s. I got four heifers from those embryos and four Ella’s. Under the same management, the Ella heifers have blown those other heifers out of the water. Every one of the Ella heifers have cycled, been AI’d and stuck to their first service. They’ve done everything right so far and I can’t wait to get them into production next year!”

Thank you to Rainbow River Simmentals for the support! We had a very successful flush on GG State of Elegance 16K to Wheatland Royal Merchant this spring and Jennilee purchased more from that flush! We can’t wait to see the results of the mating at both our place and in Manitoba!

Congratulations to Shana Lee Fankhanel on having Champion Hereford Influenced Female at CRY with Ty-D’s Rosie 200N! They also got along real well in Olds in the commercial divisions!
