Feather Bloom ( Mr Blue /Calvados Keur) did it again. Not only she was awarded the Preferent Predicate but this picture here is of her last filly, Summer Bloom by Conthargos. She won the 2025 Gert Van Den Veen Award for the best 3-5 years old mare in the KWPN North American Tour. She was honoured with the Ster Predicate and is Keur eligible.

What is most amazing is Feather Bloom had only 6 foals and it takes 3 Ster progeny to get this coveted Preferent Predicate. And Summer is her second filly of hers to get the Gert Van den Veen Award. I am very proud of both of them.

But nothing being perfect, Feather wasn't the most fertile mare unless she chose her mate it seems. She had an illegitimate son after jumping two fences to join the stallion pen ( yes she is a good jumper). Despite her difficulty to conceive and action to terminate any possible unwanted pregnancy, she kept this one... and when born in February only the DNA could say who was the unapproved dad! Go figure out how nature always gets his way.

And now she only has one o***y as she had one removed that had a tumor. So that could be her last foal BUT she gave her best shot in my opinion! 😆

Here it is. After working on this one since mid May it took us 2 months to confirm pregnancy but we are so excited now.

This is Olivia Bloom my 6 years old Diamant de Semilly who gave me such a nice foal by Cassalco last year that If she was getting in foal this year, that would be it with her jumping career as I would retain her for my breeding program.

My trainer is disappointed as she was showing great potential as a show jumping horse with her excellent work ethic and her top ten result in the KWPN Global Equine free jumping competition.

She would have made me proud in the show ring for sure but here she is, with my others good broodmares and making me a gift with a Picobello-S foal to be.

My coup de coeur has been United Touch S for a while now but impossible to breed to him here in NA as he is not fertile at all and only been used ICSI in Europe.

The second best choice is Picobello-S who looks a lot like him and despite being still young , show spectacular talents. And his breeding doesn’t lie. In my opinion he is one to watch and I believe in him.

So this is why I am so excited with that cross!

Meet Uricane Bloom.

This 2024 c**t by Casallco gave quite a good impression to the jury at the Keuring. He score well with good comments from the judge who awarded him First Premium and High Score Young Jumper. He is athletic, charismatic and a stallion prospect.

Dam, Olivia Bloom is a 5 years old beautiful, talented black mare by Diamant de Semilly out of Prelude (Calvados/Voltaire).

Olivia score 80 in the jumping part of her stud book inspection and her dam was a National jumper in Holland before she was imported in Canada. She had a breeding value of 161 which made her the highest jumping value ever imported From Holland. Prélude had her Sport predicate, EPTM, Keur and Prestatie. She is also the full sister of Harmonie, Grand Prix jumper with the highest breeding value for 13 years in a row.

Casallco is a beautiful Grand Prix jumper who won in Opglabbeek, Belgium and placed in many more. He began his career as OS reserve winner, main premium winner and score three times a perfect score of 10 at his stallion performance test and qualified for the German Championship.
Casallco's offspring are doing great: Oldenburg Champion and Vice Show Jumping Champion of Desiter, Hanoverian Vice Show Jumping Champion and winner of the Paderborn CSI youngster show jumping competition, placed seventh at the German Championships and sold at the P.S.I. Auction, Vice Show Jumping Champion of Deister and the oldest are just starting their International jumping career.

His licensed sons have achieved serial victories in young horse competitions, Reserve Champion of the stallion performance test, stallion performance test winner and successful in the international Youngster Tour.The mare Casalena, became second Reserve Champion Mare at the Westphalian Elite Show.
