Hello all.
As you can see we have not been posting for a long time. The reason for that is quite simple - I have been dealing with a serious health issue. For those who saw me last year, you probably could see that I could barely walk.
Truth is, I was struggling with basic functions for years now, despite all the chronic pain that I endured for the last 10 years I really wanted to start farming. Farming kept me going for way longer than I thought I could go on.
Last year, I started going through a series of procedures and surgeries that would allow me to walk and hopefully reduce my chronic pain to manageable levels.
I am still going through the surgeries this year, and unfortunately this means that I may not be harvesting haskaps.
I couldn't cover our berries with bird nets this spring before the surgery and I am certain that we will lose our berries to very pretty but determined waxwings.
I hope to update all of our wonderful supporters this year as I should have more time during recovery.
I thank you all for understanding and I do hope that we can share our haskaps with you this year, but I cannot guarantee it.
