Is anyone in the market for a purebred Clydesdale?
This guy I have struggled offering.. hence why hes 2 years old. He was projected to take over the draft x program when his sire aged out but I truly just dont have the pen space, room or time for another stud(I have 5 pen/pastures occupied with studs and need to reign it in on numbers) 🤣
So! I am offering him as an intact two year old for the next couple weeks. If no one bites, hes going to be gelded, and will be going for 30 days undersaddle/driving and then consigned with my trainer.
He'd make an amazing driving horse also which is another direction I may send him also but really id love his new owners to decide what they'd prefer done with him.
I will be getting his feet done before he leaves, yes they're long. If you're after him as a gelding ill make a deal and get him cut and healed up prior to leaving also for a fee. I am willing to work with anyone wanting him.
I expect for him to mature 16.3 hes gotten super leggy this spring. Hes halter broke, leads, ties. Will pick up his front feet so far, we generally do all our heavy horses on the tipping table as theres no one in our area that likes trimming the big guys on foot. Hes getting better to catch. He comes for attention, its just a time thing and I think with more consistent work he'll be putting his head in the halter for you in no time.
If you've gotten this far im asking $3500 firm plus gst. If he gets sent out his price is climbing significantly. His character is second to none and he will have you laughing with all his shenanigans in no time. His dams papers are attached. His sire is grade.
