We've got our fresh and crispy salad mixes, root crops, cabbage, cheese, eggs, baked goods and more.

Our strawberry trials are doing superb, tested varieties, and growing organically. I've been pushing for early berries using different techniques and it's proving very possible. Should be a good berry season!

A bit of spring magic…

Our strawberry plants are blossoming and we've been doing mostly hand pollination procedures.

Figs are putting first fruits out. We did some severe cutting last fall and the new growth is rapid in this warm weather.

Great to see is our garlic peeking out after a long winter nap. More garlic than ever for this season.

Soil is warming and I'm looking forward to the scapes this year!

Egyptian walking onions spent the winter indoors and should put out loads of bulbils this spring for replanting. I used to grow these onions for years but lost them one season. One of our great customers kindly propped us up with a bag full to reestablish in our gardens.

No spring is complete without daffodils, and they pop up all over our farm. Established here years ago by the Savile's. They spread and flourish here and remind us that the season is about to begin!

Hawthorns, grapes and Haskaps are about to bud break. We got another 150 vines in last season and boosted our already 250 Haskaps. The Haskaps are becoming well established and starting to put out some serious pounds of berries. We've got 4 varieties of grapes and our earliest have been producing as of last year so l'm hoping to see some good fruit in 26.
Last year we added cherries and more plums. More new bits coming this spring.
It's going to be an awesome season!

Starting harvest today, just to get a jump on the wash, blend and pack. Making sure we have plenty of fresh salad mixes over the weekend.

Once a bed is harvested it's put right back into use and get another row of seedlings going. It runs non stop all year. Planning, seeding, planting, harvest and repeat. It's fresher than anything in stores and healthier than greens shipped in from the 4 corners

We're always testing new varieties for colour, temp rating, growth, textures and flavour.

We want to make sure your family gets the freshest quality and the healthiest greens available.

Same goes with our baked goods and sourdough loaves. We're 100% organic, sprout our grains, mill a major portion in house. It's healthier and has flavour that can't be beat.

Beans, lentils, and peas (pulses) are nutrient-dense, high-fiber, and plant-based protein sources, generally containing 21-25% protein by weight and providing 6-8g of fiber per 1/2 cup. They are low in fat, cholesterol-free, and rich in iron, potassium, magnesium, and folate, making them excellent for heart health, weight management, and blood sugar control.

Tasty made as a side, added into salads makes a perfect combination.

New projects, new seeding, turning greenhouse beds, new varieties, and new happenings!
It's going to be an awesome year at the farm

The burger buns are a smash hit. We'll ramp up production of these brioche baby's just in time. The great news is they are 100% organic and long fermentation sourdough. No commercial yeasted products here!

Corn salad growing great in these longer days, the radicchio are loving the extra light. Kales, spinach and arugula love that cool along with radish.

Great breads this weekend including our family size farm loaves that are definitely a favourite. Big bread, same 100% organic sourdough. Want a BIG sandwich? This is the bread. And the value is outstanding!

Strawberry plants awaken after a long winter nap!

Our microgreen production ramps up and salad mixes and lettuce are thriving.

We bake 100% organic sourdough breads and buns all weekend, long fermented, using methods respected and trusted for a very long time.

Customarily established by my grandmother, passed on as I observed her traditions. I think it makes better bread. Quality flour from 1847 stone mills, we let the ingredients shine.

We're into our final bed of 60,000 winter carrots, which should take us into the new season.

As always, fresh harvested salad mixes with our herbs tops off a great meal. You cant get salad mix any fresher. It's triple washed, bagged and ready fo your table

There is always cake, muffins, loaves. Fruit, cheese and more.
