We are finally getting all of our pumpkins harvested. We’ve been given a whole lot of grace in terms that most of them have not been damaged by frost. This the first time I’ve seen one pumpkin growing on top of another. It’s been such a strange year for the garden!

Today is the second last farmers market for Meadow Lake. We have the very last of our garden tomatoes, some winter squash and a few bunches of beets. We are here at the Home Hardware parking 10am - 2:30pm.

We are harvesting spaghetti squash today. My goodness there’s a lot of them,and we only put in 6 plants!! Unfortunately they are not great sellers at the farmers market. So we are not sure what we will do with them all. If spaghetti squash is your thing, do get in touch. I’m sure we can arrange a deal!! Some of these are massive!!

We are ready for today’s Meadow Lake Farmers Market! We have garlic today. This is the last week for CUCUMBERS and sweet corn. The plants are done. Only two more weeks for the regular Friday market. Our last day for the Friday market is October 9th.
