26N – Born early AM on Dec 26, 25 – Registrable heifer calf born to Ashanbrook Josie 10J, sired by DEK Fleck 28J. Born unassisted. Took to sucking on her own. 10J last calved in January of this year and this one looks alot like her January heifer calf 3N

Downloaded and installed the CLTS Mobo app on my phone in order to check out the new cattle movement records system being implemented next year. There is a page showing every batch of RFID tags that I've ever purchased and the date purchased. I'd forgotten when I got into the cattle ranching business. Evidently, it was May of 2000. Ouch!

Registrable bull calf 14N born Wed Apr 30, 2025, unassisted to Sanmar Pol Joandra 54J. Why are bull calves sooooo d***y? In a 24 hour period I had to rescue it from the wrong side of fences or gates, ones he could have managed by walking 10 feet to get around, three times. Oh, and when you can't get around the gate, the obvious solution is to lay down in the nearest puddle of cold water and wait for help.

Mon Apr 28, 25 - 19 month old commercial heifer 19L needed help from the vet to birth a live heifer calf (13N). No udder on the dam, so bottle feeding for the time being. Calf may be going to Keady in the near future if 19L doesn't step up and do her job.
