Shorsey has been busy as of late! From heading steers, entertaining kids or helping with ranch chores he is really proving how versatile and gentle he really is.

Same horse, same arena, same year...

Different riders.

Sundre Pro Rodeo and Sundre High School Rodeo.

Can we take a moment to appreciate the way this horse can gear up and down?

"Shoresy" is a 2017 grullo gelding that stands 15’2. This horse has great feet and bone; he has mainly been ridden barefoot, but will be shoed for the sale. Shoresy is very well started on the head side in the arena. He is quiet in the box, always runs right to the hip of the cow, and is very strong on the horn! Shoresy's strong work ethic no doubt came from his ranch background. In the branding pen he is quiet and confident and this big guy has no issues dragging calves to the fire all day. He walks into the herd quiet and calm, making him a pleasure to ride on branding day! He has doctored cattle in the open and is good either with help, or if you're the only one doctoring. His nice smooth trot makes him a pleasure to ride those long days checking and moving cattle. He will ride out alone with no issues and he is the same horse with time off; he doesn’t change. He is quiet and confident, very few things will scare him or make him nervous.

If he catches your eye, we encourage you to come ride and try him prior to sale day. We're located at St.Albert.

Sunday Surprise (except it's Saturday today).

7 year old barrel mare for sale. Currently clocking low 18s on a standard pattern and improving. She has all the grit and try you want, and her bravery makes her very easy to season and keep progressing.

This mare wants to work and gives an honest effort every run. Minimal maintenance.
Great opportunity for someone looking for a young horse with lots of upside.
