Foodland IGA We are locally owned and operated Grocery Store in Medicine Hat since 1960. We have fresh Meat, Produce, Bakery and Deli Departments.

Foodland IGA is the definition of a family business. The store was founded in 1960 by Hon & Lois Wong, the father and mother of the current owners, Vincent and Lawton. It was formerly located in an older building near the rail station with living quarters above it. The business prospered and the store moved to its present location in 1970 and later underwent a major addition in 1992. To this day,

the store has maintained its position as a smaller, community based grocery store. Collectively Vincent and Lawton have been involved with the store for over 60 years. They continue to support the local community through daily donations of fresh goods to the local food bank during the week and to local churches on the weekend. In addition, they also donate to fundraising barbecues and support local youth soccer teams.

Foodland IGA is hiring a Produce Clerk
28 hours a week. Must be able to work days and every other weekend.
Job description includes unloading and receiving stock. Merchandising produce area which including stocking and maintaining a clean and appealing produce area. HMR of cutting fruits and vegetables for trays. Food safety certificate must be obtained within 3 months.

Foodland IGA is seeking a friendly and focused bakery clerk to join our team.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide Excellent Customer Service
- Package and label baked goods for display
- Assist with production as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area

This position requires candidate to be available to work two shifts a week 6am - 3pm and two - three shifts a week 10am - 3pm.(31 hours a week) and every other weekend off.
