Haskap season!!! This years crop is looking amazing. Also some plants are coming back I thought got bush-cut. I am so please. This morning I learned a better way to pick them, I tried something different and it worked🙌

Wind is always crazy. Sound is difficult. I’m trying a voice over so it’s easier to hear.Sharing some of my learning lessons along the way🫶. This should increase fruit production.

One just never knows what to expect at Earthly Acres and I’m here for it, and there are firsts for everything. Life was crazy this week I felt like I was just floating from one moment to the next, sometimes on autopilot and little regard for things like wardrobe changes.
Rolling with the punches and going with the flow.
If your mother is still with you I hope you get to hug her this weekend ✨💜🫶

Happy Earth Day🌎 💜✨💫
One of my favourite days of the year, and 17 years living here I can’t believe it’s been that long. I love watching this place grow and bloom it is truly a daily acknowledgement 💜
Creating!!!! It’s a beautiful gift, and I am blessed to have such beauty around me to work with 💜. I am honoured to be a steward of this soil, something I take great responsibility and care for. I am grateful for all she has taught me. Patience first up 😆, oh how Rome was not built in a day, and this place won’t be either. I love how my house has been one of my greatest teachers, building my character, my knowledge, my resistance, all while giving me an anchor for the boys and I. My home has taught me to roll with the punch’s, and water is always life. When you build with love, intention, gratitude , and alignment, then abundance you will always have 💜.
I look forward to all that will be anew this year and embrace all the learning curves that may come with it 💜✨💫🙌 Cheers to another year at My Beloved Earthly Acres

Dad’s cat , Loona, showed up just as I started to talk about him. He has been on my mind heavy for the last couple of days 💜, he would have loved this moment with me.

Yesterday I worked until dark, to say I am excited about this new tool is an understatement.

I’m so glad I passed over the battery bridge. This was the original saw dad and I were looking at for me , then last minute I decided to go battery as they are safer for start up.

I was ready to take the extra power, I got my brake wrong for initial start up but after a couple of stars I’m fully comfortable,

This saw did weeks worth of work in less than three tanks of gas . It’s super easy to use, the saw guide it self, it was the sun setting that stopped me , I had a few more cuts in me for sure 😅, not many. Its awesome in this case to be out worked by a tool, unlike my battery one.

Onwards and upwards 🙌💫✨💜 for new challenges Earthly Acres brings me this year.

I’m so happy to have arrived to this point 🙌🥳, started using the hoses this week. Hauling duck water is a hard chore and when the ground becomes and ice rink for a couple weeks in March and April it makes things extra challenging, especially being on a hill, straight down a hill from the back door 😅, they are worth it. 💜
