It would seem that my LYE post pushed some buttons in a couple of groups. Lol. So many people are so fast to say no, and attack you for a simple question to spark a discussion.

According to half the people, it doesn't work, the other half say it will kill my livestock, and only a few people commenting seem to have actually researched this instead of letting AI think for them.

I'm just wondering how long before my animals die, so I can prepare for a mass burial, cause it's been over 5 days, and all of my animals are perfectly fine. My goats famacha scores improved from about mid level back up to a nice deeper color again, as well, their hair
feels softer with no bad side effects noticed visually.

I treated my goats, pigs, n poultry, everything except for the rabbits, and each set of animals have been showing their own signs of looking healthier since. First thing I noticed is that my chickens butts, and feathers look a lot better than they did a week ago leading me to believe they had a mite infestation.

I never once advocated its use, and would never tell anyone to try something that I have not fully tested myself. I found enough evidence online from people who actually use it to say that it's completely safe when used properly in moderation, as well as effective, and led me to consider trying it for MYSELF.

I have noticed visual improvements in all my livestock with no adverse effects, but I feel like I need to get set-up to do f***l egg counts to know if anything is actually happening in that department, and do deeper testing to satisfy my curiosity.

I have a lot of time to think on my hands, I love learning things that are on the more difficult to understand spectrum of things, and I read for hours from sources on both sides of a topic to make my own informed decisions before I do anything physically.

Do your own research, do what you feel is safe for you, never just take an AI, or influencers word on something, and always question everything with an open mind.

The question today, is, to LYE, or not to LYE? What are your thoughts on using LYE as a dewormer for livestock?

I know I'm weird, but when your puppy is this cute, you make weird voices ok.

Like, I still can't get over the fact that Brutus ain't even 6 months old yet, weighs around 70lbs, and looks like he grows more every couple of days. πŸ˜‚

STUBBORN? my God is he ever, he listens well if you have a treat in your hand, otherwise, it's like talking to the wind sometimes. πŸ˜‚

Personal space? He doesn't know the meaning, he will get up on the couch, and sit right on you with a smile on his face. 😁

Snuggle experience? 110% the most cuddly s**t ball you ever cuddled, even when he's trying to devour your hand, and slobbering everywhere like he has worms up his ass. πŸ˜‚

Had to get him a real chain, and heavy duty clip, cause them little wire ties don't hold a Brutus back for long. πŸ˜‚

He is like the complete opposite of my older dog Ozzy.

Ozzy has grace, and finesse in his movements. 🩰

Brutus leaves a wake of terror, and destruction in his. πŸ‚
