As a general rule I don't tend to talk about our charitable work, but I'm going to make an exception. Sons of Kent reached out to us about a month ago to source honey for a honey beer, the proceeds from which will benefit Chatham-Kent Hospice. Hospice happens to be one of the charities that we support so rather than charge them, we happily donated the honey to the project. This Beer went on sale today, June 18 available at Sons of Kent. 6 packs are $20+ tax. Stop by and get yours.

This is our presence in No Frills Glencoe. Each new store is a victory. I was told that a good way to approach engagement on Facebook is to tell people about what is actually going on right now. So, right now we are creating little beehives for people who want to start keeping bees. I keep the number that I sell quite regulated because I know there is a failure rate and I don't sell junk. This job is quite demanding but it forms an important revenue stream that keeps the lights on and the bills paid. Pam has hustled away and made sure we have enough packed product for more than one full store tour so in the spare time I have been organizing our space because we've grown a lot and the warehouse is getting really congested. I need to move a couple of hives so I'll be off around 9 tonight and back later probably with a couple stings. When I go to work I don't look for a job, the job finds me.

It just keeps getting more exciting as we expand into more stores. Today we celebrate adding Zehrs to the wonderful stores handling our product. Jeremy is such a nice fella, it's going to be a real treat having our product here. You'll find us right on the corner as you enter the bakery area. Easy to find and priced VERY fairly.
