When a true Merrittian becomes a regular, you know you’re in for a good day.

Dave and his kind wife have so much history in our town and have a way of making everyone feel welcome the moment they walk through the door. Whether they’re sharing stories, laughter, or simply stopping in for a visit, they always brighten our day.

Who knew two people could bring so much humour, warmth, and kindness to a room? Customers like them are what make Valley Graze feel like more than just a business they make it feel like community.

🎉🎂 Birthday at Valley Graze!! 🎂🎉

Linden is celebrating a birthday!!! Whoop whoooop!!! 🥳

What can we say about this GOAT? He’s been with us since day one. Through the good days, the tough days, the chaotic days, and everything in between, he’s shown up every single time.

Linden is dependable, hardworking, and always ready to do whatever needs doing. Linden puts so much heart into running the kitchen. Who knew the guy that showed up for interveiw with fresh bread would be running a kitchen in a few months? He’s been a huge part of the Valley Graze journey and has helped build this little shop into what it is today.

And let’s not forget one of his greatest accomplishment… making the BEST cinnamon buns in town. Seriously. If you’ve ever had one, you know. 🤤

From early mornings to long days, he’s been a steady part of the team, bringing dedication, laughs, and plenty of cinnamon scented happiness along the way.

Help us wish Linden a very Happy Birthday! 🎉🎈

Favourite Customers Friday ✨

A huge shoutout to the Merritt Secondary School Leadership team who volunteer their time every week to add a little personality to our cups with their artistic skills.

In a world that can feel heavy sometimes, it’s pretty amazing watching young people choose to make a positive impact in such a simple but meaningful way. A doodle, a kind message, or a funny little drawing might seem small, but it can completely turn someone’s day around.

We’ve watched customers smile, laugh, and even take their cups with them because of these little touches. It’s a reminder that kindness doesn’t always have to be loud sometimes it’s written in marker on the side of a coffee cup.

Thank you Leadership team for sharing your creativity, your time, and your good energy with our community. 💛

Behind the scenes at Valley Graze:

One person making sandwiches at lightning speed.
One person aggressively trying to catch up on dishes.
One person yelling ‘HOT SOUP COMING THROUGH.’
And one person standing in the walk-thru to kitchen trying to remember their own name. 😂

People think café life is aesthetic.

And sometimes it is… for like 14 seconds. ☕️✨

The rest of the time at Valley Graze it’s:

• dropping tongs every 8 minutes
• speed-walking with a sandwich in hand
• checking the oven 19 times
• yelling ‘BEHIND’ like it’s a personality trait

Meet our newest GOAT, Tasha 🐐

Sense of humour ✔️

Aura +1000 ✨

You know those people that walk into a workplace and instantly become part of the glue that holds it together? That’s Tasha. The kind of person who notices what needs to be done before you even ask, jumps in without complaint, and somehow keeps everyone smiling.

She brings the energy, the laughs, the motivation, and the teamwork every single shift. Never too good for any task, always willing to learn, and already becoming someone the whole team counts on.

Showing up for 6am shifts on a Saturday under the age of 20 with more work ethic than people twice her age. Meanwhile, when I was her age, I was probably just pulling into my driveway at 6am.😂

She’s become the little sister of the shop, the missing link we didn’t know we needed, and a huge part of what makes Valley Graze feel the way it does.

Safe to say… we’re keeping this one. ☕✨
