Fresh garlic bulbs are back! That’s right folks, the wait is finally over! Come on down to the Nicola Valley Farmers Market tomorrow from 9:30-1 and get yours! They go fast! We’ll also have garlic scapes!!!

Your first tease of fresh garlic will be at the tomorrow! Garlic scapes are just a week or two away now!! Green Garlic = young, mild garlic with edible greens and tender bulbs. Sweeter and gentler than mature garlic.
Easy ways to enjoy it:
• Chop & sauté in eggs, stir-fries, pasta, or rice
• Blend into fresh pesto or salad dressings
• Grill whole bunches
• Slice raw into salads for bright flavor
• Use like scallions or spring onions
Perfect short-season spring treat!

If you’re looking for hanging baskets, we’ve got you covered. If you’re looking for vegetable, herb or flower plugs for your garden, we’ve got you covered. We’ll be at the tomorrow from 930 until 1 PM! The garden is planted, but not quite ready to produce, but in the meantime, let us help you plant your garden with the same great varieties that you would expect from us. We are all set up at the and we are kicking off our 20th season with the market! This spring we are bringing you hanging baskets, bedding plants, vegetable and herb starts, 8 varieties of seed potatoes, as well as our spices and seasonings. This weekend Shirley’s pies and more has her crocheted blankets and dishcloths under our tent!!
