4 day old Novella Uno WM [Numero Uno / Canabis Z / Le Tot de Semilly] went for her first outing to the grass yesterday and had a blast! 💥

I am really impressed with her bravery and confidence. This was her first time out of her paddock/stall, being haltered and leading and she jogged out in front of her dam past the other horses, then had a blast playing on the grass.

I am thrilled with her natural ability to collect her canter stride, swapping her leads for fun and natural balance.

Birth announcement! 📣

Canatot des Terdrix Z (Canabis Z / Le Tot de Semilly) foaled out a huge FILLY by the one and only NUMERO UNO early this morning.

Candi was ever so thoughtful, and decided to let me know she would foal shortly while I was out doing 2am scanning. So, I brushed and braided her tail after I was done scanning, and as I was about 3/4 of the way done braiding she broke her water, let me finish braiding and then we headed on into the stall to foal out.

Candi is also the absolute easiest mare to get a foal to nurse on, she positions herself just perfectly and then stands solid as a rock.

Wilhelmina WM "Bunny" 🐰

2022 Belgian Warmblood filly by Quidam's Pleasure (For Pleasure) out of Cornelia WM (Conquest van de Helle).

Bunny just turned 4 years old and stands 17 hh. She has been thoughtfully developed as a big, young horse. She went to her first show in April an absolutely thrived in the busy environment! She is incredibly sweet and easy to handle, loved by all that meet her 🥰

Bunny is a super-talented, upper-level prospect for all three rings with an excellent mind to go with it.

She combines elegant movement with exceptional scope, consistently jumping a perfect 10 in the chute and now showing the same abilities under saddle with loads of scope.

Her gaits are expressive and balanced with a big stride, making her equally suited to hunters, jumpers, or equitation.

Sensitive yet very sensible, Bunny is a forward-thinking, intelligent young horse with a lovely, willing personality. She has a soft mouth and prefers a rider with a soft hand. She has been ridden by junior/amateurs and would certainly suit a junior/amateur in a program.

She hacks out confidently and shows all the qualities of a future star in the show ring. A rare opportunity to own a top-quality young mare with talent, temperament, and presence to go all the way. Bunny is sweet and kind with good ground manners, ties and cross ties, good for the farrier and vet, loads and hauls and lives happily in a mixed herd, private paddock or stall. She does prefer a barn environment where she can visit other horses over the fence sometimes, compared to divided paddocks with absolutely no nose-to-nose contact.

X-rays showing clean joints available to serious parties, perfect flexions. She does have a very minor blemish on x-ray (an incidental finding outside of the joint) that does not/will not affect her and is not visible whatsoever to the naked eye.

I absolutely love this — Mila (Titanium Princess WM) is Alexis’ 2019 filly (Conquest / Acord II), who has been brought along incredibly by Bethany at Arrow Creek, who bought her as a long yearling. She also made Alexis a grandma 👵🏻🩶

Kanuni (Harley VDL / Latino / Corrado I / Contender) and her kids… actual kid Kannestelle WM (v. Kannan) and foster kid, C-Braveheart WM (Clear Heart / Canabis Z / Le Tot de Semilly / Manhattan).

Kanuni just loves being a mom, she’ll even let her foster kids nurse 🤪🙄 Thankfully she easily maintains condition while milking like a Holstein cow!
