That’s a wrap on our 2026 syrup season! 🍁

Cavan Hills Maple Syrup had a stronger year than last, though still a bit shy of our usual production. With an average of 500 taps, we were able to collect a solid amount of sap and keep things flowing throughout the season.

There’s still plenty of work ahead in the woods, but we’re excited and working toward getting back to our full capacity of 2,000 taps for the 2027 season, fingers crossed for calm weather and no storms!

A big shoutout to everyone who helped us along the way, and to those who came out to visit. We’re so grateful for all the support, love, and laughs shared this season, it truly means the world to us!! Especially this year!

A whole week of boiling syrup… and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the old wood stove, keeping the fire going, bottling syrup, and sharing it all with the people we love most. A few drinks, lots of snacks (with maple syrup, of course), and a whole lot of laughter along the way.

Our sugar shack is always full. Full of warmth, full of stories, and full of anyone who wants to stop in and stay awhile (these days we would love a heads up as health is our number one priority at the moment❤️)

There’s just something about this time of year that brings everyone together, and we’re so grateful to share it.

Thank you, Mom. 🤍

There’s something about this farm that holds more than just land and buildings it holds the heart you pour into it. Every fence post, every early morning, every animal cared for, every meal made after a long day… it all carries a piece of you.

You taught us what hard work looks like, but more importantly what love looks like. The quiet kind. The kind that wakes up before the sun, puts everyone else first, and keeps going even when it’s tired.

This farm is more than where we grew up. It’s where we learned how to be strong, how to care for others, and how to appreciate the simple things open fields, fresh air, family around the table.

Thank you for creating a place that will always feel like home. No matter where life takes us, this land and you, are our roots. 🌾

We’re lucky to have you as our mom, and this farm will always be a reflection of the love you build it with.

Love you always, you’re stronger than ever!

Syrup season 2026 is officially loading…
Taps will be going in soon, sugar shack’s waking up, and we’re crossing our fingers for no wind storms, no ice storms, and no “well that wasn’t in the plan” moments this year 😅
Here’s to sticky hands, long days, and the sweetest reward. Let’s do this.

First calf of 2026 and the final baby of this calving season 🐄

This little heifer came in strong and wasted no time making herself known. After a bit of a rocky start, her and mama are inside, warm, and doing great.

Now comes the fun part, she needs a name! Suggestions welcome, maybe starting with P 🤍
