These beauties will be making their way into bouquets at the Leduc Farmers Market tomorrow from 10–1:30pm! 💐

Finally harvesting buckets full of these single petal dahlias! These were all grown from tubers and seeds I collected and saved last year!
Clearly, I have become a bit obsessed with dahlias this season.

Safe to say I’ll be investing in way more varieties next season… especially more ball and lotus dahlias! My wish list has become a bit of a problem. 😏

It’s going to be a hot evening at the Beaumont Alberta Farmers Market and flower season is almost over! 💐

Come grab some fresh flowers, locally grown fruit and veggies and homemade goodies. Come shop local, listen to some live music and soak up some of the last little bits of summer! ☀️

The final markets of the season! 🌸

August flew by and I only have a few markets left before I switch gears for the season into saving seeds, digging & storing dahlia tubers and getting everything prepped for next growing season. 🌱

Come see me tomorrow night at the Beaumont Farmers’ Market from 5–8 PM! I’ll have lots of locally grown blooms to take home. 💐

Flower farm reality check 😅

I won’t be at the Beaumont Market tomorrow like I had hoped! I just don’t have enough flowers to bring with me. 🥲

My dahlias, zinnias and cosmos are all running behind! Partly from some transplanting issues and late successions but we’re pretty sure the very wet weather has been the biggest culprit. 🌧️
Spring flowers have officially started to die back, and the flowers I was counting on for this little in-between period just need a bit more time.

As disappointing as it is, I’d rather wait and bring you beautiful, abundant blooms than show up with a sad little table consisting of a few bouquets.

BUT you can still find me at:
