Not gonna lie; I’m struggling. This weather s taking a toll. In all the years I’ve been in this industry, I don’t remember a wetter, colder, more miserable spring. For most people it is annoying and depressing. For those of us in the flower industry it is scary, and could be catastrophic. We depend on strong sales in May, and in particular the long weekend, so here is my PSA - please get out to your local garden centre this weekend and buy veggies and flowers for your garden. Please. Our friends who grow veggies are worried too. The warm weather will come. Please don’t give up on the season because the weather has been lousy. Beautiful colour in your garden will make you happy. 🌸
