The Carr Family Farm is located at 221 Newcastle Centre Road in Newcastle Centre, NB. We sell fresh produce from June to October.

We also sell flowers and bedding plants in May. Stop by for farm fresh eggs all year round.

Just wanted everyone to know that sadly we will not be opening our vegetable stand this summer.. we depend on a steady stream of drive by traffic and since the bridge closed we no longer have that! We have had people suggest that we could take our produce and sell it elsewhere, but that’s not the retirement idea we had in mind. Working around our property and stopping now and then to sell produce and show people where our produce is grown is more what we had in mind. We will miss all of the loyal customers we have had over the years and thank you for taking time to stop by. Bruce and Sue Carr. .. PS .. we will never stop puttering around the property!

Well… our greenhouse will be closing for the season this week! Thursday will be our last day.. we are open 10-5 everyday until then. We still have lots of big beef tomatoes left as well as some broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, pumpkins, pickling cucumbers, jalapeño peppers and hanging baskets.
Bruce and I would like to thank all our loyal customers and some new ones who took the time to travel our not so great back road or walk across the closed bridge to support us! ❤️

Well.. if you haven’t got your garden 🪏in yet.. we still have some plants left! Lots of cucumbers, red and green cabbage, Roma and big beef tomatoes.. as well as pumpkins, squash, broccoli, cauliflower and jalapeño peppers. There are some flowers and hanging baskets as well. Our bridge is closed but you can walk across- we are just on the other side or you can drive the back road by entering on Cedar Street.

Well.. six years ago this month we moved to this property and established Carr Family Farm and we’ve been building ever since! We started with one tiny house and now have a large garage, two greenhouses, an equipment and wood shed a living room addition and a chicken coop! Our beloved bridge is now closed and we now live on a dead end street and no longer see our neighbours drive by.
We will be open for bedding plant sales until the end of June and look forward to helping you with your gardening needs.

Well, Mother Nature has been giving us the cold shoulder and it looks like warmer weather on the way! We have a large stock of tomato plants.. big beef, Sungold, Scotia and Roma! Also lots of peppers, cucumbers, squash, pumpkins, broccoli, cauliflower and much more. Open 9 - 5. ..

If you are looking for some beautiful canning tomato plants .. stop by and have a look at our Roma’s.. they make the best sauce, paste, salsa and canned tomatoes! Big strong plants that produce a lot of tomatoes! We have a large selection of vegetable plants and can answer any of your gardening questions.. we are open everyday from 9 to 5 except Sunday and Monday.

Thanks to everyone who picked up plants yesterday on our opening day! We have plenty of bedding plants.. stock up on our variety of tomatoes.. Big Beef, Scotia, Tiny Tim’s , Roma, Sungold..
We are open everyday except Sunday and Monday but we will be open this Holiday Monday! Drop by and see us!

Our greenhouse will be opening this Thursday May 14th! We look forward to seeing all our customers! Our hours are 10 to 4 .. lots of vegetable plants and some flowers as well!

We will be opening our greenhouse for bedding plant sales on May 14th! Hours will be 10 am to 5 pm and closed Sunday and Monday.
We have a variety of vegetable plants and some flowers. Please remember that the bridge is closed and you must use Cedar Street or park on the other side of the bridge and walk across! We look forward to seeing you!

We will be selling bedding plants again this year! I have been in the greenhouse growing a variety of flowers and vegetables.. will be opening mid May until the end of June. I will post in the near future when we will be open weather permitting. Unfortunately we no longer have a bridge with the only road access being Cedar Street, or you can park on the other side of the bridge and walk across. Hope to see you all soon!
