Mash a couple of handfuls of blueberries with a little water, simmer gently for twenty to thirty minutes. Don't boil hard, just a low simmer. Strain out the solids, then soak your dried bunny tails in the dye from thirty minutes to a few hours, checking the colour as you go. Rinse very lightly, squeeze gently in a towel, then hang upside down to dry. Expect a soft lilac or smoky blue. Keep it out of direct sun; it fades.
