The first RYVITA® bakery was established in Birmingham in 1932, it made crispbread using the same principles we use today – the finest British Rye ingredients with no added yeast. In 1940, the RYVITA® Co. Ltd was bought by Rowntree

and products were made in different locations in order to over come wartime zoning (the separation of industrial & residential areas). In 1949, after the war, a factory with three continuous baking ovens was commissioned in Poole, Dorset. Also, in 1949, Garfield Weston bought the RYVITA® Company Ltd. This is still the site of the current RYVITA® factory, although it’s a little bigger & more modern these days, and Garfield Weston’s original company, Associated British Foods, still owns RYVITA® – a consistent relationship with Poole & ABF for over 60 years! Since establishing Poole & being bought by ABF, RYVITA® has had several further milestones in its history – opening a mill at the Poole site in 1968 to provide all the Rye flour for your favourite RYVITA® Crispbread and opening a new factory in Stockport in 1981 to make Crackerbread. We have also had many famous faces associated with our brand; Julie Andrews, Ulrika Jonsson, Ruby Wax and most recently, Fern Britton. We have also significantly expanded our range of products, although we did have just 2 for nearly 60 years! Now though, we have 9 different varieties of RYVITA® Crispbread, 2 different RYVITA® Crackerbread, a whole range of delicious RYVITA® Minis snacks and 2 flavours of RYVITA® Thins.

Our recipe for this herb and crispbread crusted salmon is a delicious and light lunch or dinner meal!

Ingredients:
2 Ryvita Multigrain Rye Crispbread
1 clove garlic, roughly chopped
Small bunch parsley
1 lemon, ½ zested and juiced, ½ cut into wedges to serve
2 tsp. olive oil
2 salmon fillets
2 large handfuls salad leaves
8 cherry tomatoes, halved

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350. Place the rye crispbread, garlic, parsley, lemon zest, and some seasoning in a food processor and pulse until it resembles fine breadcrumbs then mix in 1 tsp olive oil. Place the salmon fillets on a baking tray and carefully top with the crumb mixture and cook in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until the fish is cooked all the way through. Whisk the remaining tsp olive oil with the lemon juice and some seasoning in a bowl then add the salad leaves and tomatoes and toss to coat.

Serve the salmon alongside the salad and a wedge of lemon.

Summon the flavours of Greece with this mouth-watering Greek Salad recipe- with a crunch!

Ingredients
1 Ryvita Crispbread of your choice
1 tomato - chopped
1 small cucumber- chopped
1/4 red onion- sliced
Kalamata olives
Crumbled feta

Combine all your chopped ingredients into a bowl, top with oregano, olive oil and fresh lemon juice and toss together. Add tzatziki or hummus for some protein and serve with a Crispbread on the side.

Looking for the perfect pairings for your Ryvita Thins charcuterie board? Why not try the recipe below:

Ingredients:
4 cooked beets (boiled in unsalted water)
100g feta
Juice ½ lemon
2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
½ clove garlic, minced or grated
2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
Small bunch parsley
100g pitted black olives
1 clove garlic, roughly chopped
1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

To make the beet dip, in a food processor blitz together the beets, feta, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic and some seasoning until smooth.

To make the parsley oil, blanch the parsley in boiling water for 10 seconds then immediately plunge into cold water, dry on kitchen towel and roughly chop. Rinse out the food processor and add the oil and parsley with some seasoning and blitz until combined.

To make tapenade, add the black olives, garlic and olive oil to a food processor with some seasoning and pulse until just combined.

Serve the beetroot dip, parsley oil and tapenade in separate bowls alongside the Thins, enjoy!

Check out this fibre-filled open-faced crispbread "sandwich" from Choosing Chia! Get the recipe for this sweet breakfast idea that uses Ryvita, whipped ricotta and berries below!

Ingredients:
4 slices of Ryvita Crispbreads (Jess used Rye & Oat Bran)
½ cup ricotta cheese
Fresh berries
Fresh mint leaves
1-2 tbsp honey

Instructions:
Add the ricotta to a bowl and mix until it’s light and fluffy.
Spread the ricotta onto the Crispbreads and drizzle with honey.
Top it off with fresh berries and mint.

We're throwing it back to this delicious hummus creation from Choosing Chia!

Ingredients:⁠

4 slices of Ryvita Crispbread
14oz can of chickpeas, drained⁠
3 tbsp hummus⁠
1 tbsp Dijon mustard⁠
1 tbsp lemon juice⁠
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion⁠
3 tbsp capers, chopped⁠
1 handful fresh dill, chopped⁠
1/2 tsp salt⁠
1/2 tsp pepper⁠
1/2 tsp paprika⁠
Crumbled feta and fresh herbs to top (optional)⁠

Instructions:⁠

Smash the chickpeas using a potato masher, fork, or food processor, then add the remaining chickpea salad ingredients to the bowl and mix. Taste and adjust⁠ seasoning if needed.⁠

Spread some of the smashed chickpeas onto each Crispbread and optionally top with some fresh herbs and crumbled feta.⁠
