You Know It’s CNE Season When… 🎡

For over 25 years, we’ve been supplying the CNE and supporting the vendors who help bring its food, fun, and traditions to life.

Since 1998, we’ve had a front-row seat to one of Toronto’s biggest summer traditions. We’ve seen the CNE change over the years, but some things never get old.

🚪 You walk through the Princes’ Gates and know you’re officially at the Ex.

🍴 You make your way through the Food Building, trying to decide what to eat first.

🍿 You leave with a bag of CNE popcorn in hand.

🎡 The midway lights come on, and you suddenly feel like a kid again.

🎯 You try your luck at the games, convinced this is finally your year to win.

✈️ Everyone stops what they’re doing to watch the Air Show.

🎶 You catch a show at the Bandshell.

These are the sights, sounds, tastes, and traditions that make the CNE feel like summer.

We’re proud to have been behind the scenes, supporting the businesses that help bring those memories to life for more than 25 years.

What’s the one CNE tradition you never miss?

Some CEOs send emails. Ours gets behind the wheel.

Last year, our CEO, Laurens, took the wheel to deliver supplies and keep vendors stocked throughout the CNE. Because when it comes to getting the job done, no delivery is too big, and no road trip is too long. We’ll go the extra mile to make sure our clients get the products they need, when they need them, no matter what.

From our warehouse to the CNE grounds, we deliver happiness.

We’ve shared the numbers. Now, let’s look at what they mean beyond the CNE grounds.
In 2025, our compostable program helped support the CNE’s waste diversion efforts, with 75 metric tons diverted across the CNE grounds, up from 20.7 metric tons the year before.

In the CNE Food Building alone, diversion increased from 2.5 metric tons to 35 metric tons.

But the story doesn’t end when the CNE closes.

As recently highlighted by the Toronto Star, 40 tonnes of compostable food containers from the CNE were transformed into compost in just eight months. That compost was then delivered to Malvern Urban Farm in Scarborough, where it is helping enrich the soil and grow food for local communities.

That’s what makes this program so meaningful to us.

The compostable packaging we help provide to CNE vendors doesn’t simply disappear after the last meal is served. Through the right collection and processing systems, it can become part of something much bigger.

Food containers → compost → soil → food.

That’s the impact beyond the numbers.

Read the full story in the Toronto Star to learn more about where the CNE’s compost is going and the communities benefiting from it.

Small Choices. Big Impact. 🌱

From the first bite of popcorn to the last sip of lemonade, every CNE favourite starts with the details behind the scenes.

With thousands of guests enjoying food and drinks every day, the packaging choices made by vendors can play an important role in creating a more sustainable event experience.

That’s where compostable packaging comes in. Designed for high-volume foodservice, compostable solutions help support waste diversion efforts while keeping concession operations running smoothly.

For the 2026 CNE, most single-serve serviceware must be BPI-certified compostable, including hot and cold cups.

Whether you’re serving up classic fair favourites or creating new CNE memories, we’re here to help you find the right compostable solutions for your booth.

The Story Behind a More Sustainable Canadian National Exhibition !

In 2025, we helped bring back the CNE’s compostable packaging program, supporting concession operators with sustainable solutions designed for one of Canada’s largest events.

With more than 1.4 million visitors over 18 days, the CNE creates a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Supporting an event of this scale requires solutions that meet the needs of high-volume foodservice operations while helping reduce waste.

The success of the program was made possible through collaboration between the CNE, waste management partners, vendors, and suppliers working together toward a shared goal. We were proud to provide compostable packaging solutions that helped vendors transition to more sustainable options.

The impact:
• 75 metric tons of waste diverted through the compostable program in 2025
• 35 metric tons diverted in the CNE Food Building alone

In 2026, the program continues to grow.

Are you a food & beverage vendor at the CNE this year? Did you know that most single-serve serviceware must be BPI-certified compostable, including the items used in previous years, along with the addition of hot and cold cups this year?

We’re here to help vendors find the right compostable packaging solutions to support their operations and meet the needs of the CNE program.

Planning your CNE setup? Contact us to learn more about compostable solutions available for your booth.

Follow along as we share the story behind the program and the people helping make it possible.
