We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by Vintage Vines this week! We were absolutely thrilled to welcome so many new faces into our winemaking family. We know the sudden closure of Wine Butler on Lakeshore has left a lot of you with unfulfilled batches and stranded vouchers, and we are so glad we could step in to help keep your cellars stocked through our Craft Wine Rescue Program.
💳 A Crucial Tip for Stranded Customers:
Several customers who visited us mentioned they had spoken directly with their credit card companies about their unfulfilled Wine Butler orders. They were advised that because services were not rendered, they could dispute the charge and get their money back (typically initiating the cancellation/refund after a week). If you have money tied up, we highly recommend calling your credit card provider immediately to see if you can start a claim.
🍇 Know Exactly What's in Your Bottle:
As you transition your winemaking to us, we want to ensure you know exactly what you are paying for. We believe in total honesty and transparency regarding our inventory and process. Here is the straightforward breakdown of our craft wine tiers:
Tier 1: 4-Week Concentrate Kits. These are entry-level wines made purely from high-quality juice concentrate bags and water. They are great for casual sipping and are ready quickly. We will never mask these under generic "Style" names or charge you premium prices for them.
Tier 2: 6-to-8-Week Premium Kits. This is the tier required for a full-bodied, complex commercial equivalent. These kits include up to 18kg of raw juice and wet grape skins, which provide the heavy tannins and deep color.
Tier 3: Total Bespoke Winemaking. This is our specialty and separates us entirely from the standard model. It gives you complete customization over the final profile. We can dial in the exact alcohol level—ranging from completely alcohol-free to full strength—while precisely calibrating the tannins, oak intensity, tartness, and residual sugar to your exact palate.
