Coquille St. Jacques
In the video we doubled the recipe
• 3 tbsps of butter
• 2 green onions
• 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
• 3 tbsps flour
• 1/2 cup white w**e
• 1/2 cup of 15% or 35% cream
• 3/4 cup milk
• 1 fish bouillon
• 2 cups baby scallops
• 2 cups cooked shrimp
• 1 cup of gruyere cheese, Grated
• Mash potatoes (Roundabout at the end)
Before you begin, make sure you lightly cook your shrimps and set to the side. All other seafood should be raw.
In a pot, melt butter, saute onions and mushrooms for 1 minute. Sprinkle flour and whisk in w**e, cream, milk and thicken. Stir in salt, scallops and shrimp. Fill each plate and put mashed potatoes around dish. Sprinkle cheese on top and then you do a roundabout with your piped mash potatoes.
Place in oven at 350 for 15-20 minutes
