These cosy protein banana bread bites are officially my new fall sweet treat 🍌🍞🤎

And the star of the show? Enjoy Life Foods chocolate chips 🤎 I love using their chocolate chips for an easy, better-for-you chocolate coating that makes these little bites feel like the cosiest treat.

Ingredients

1 banana, mashed
¼ cup maple syrup
½ cup peanut butter (or your favourite nut butter)
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup oat flour
3 scoops protein powder
¼ tsp cinnamon
Enjoy Life Foods chocolate chips, for dipping
1 tsp coconut oil

Method

Mix everything together, then roll into little balls and place on a parchment-lined sheet. Freeze for 10–15 minutes while you melt the chocolate.

Melt the chocolate chips with 1 tsp coconut oil, then dip each bite into the chocolate and place back onto the parchment.

Freeze again until the chocolate is set.

Enjoy 👌🏼

The perfect cosy little snack to have stocked in the freezer all fall 🍂🤎

A dinner party menu that lets everyone mingle, graze, and actually enjoy the evening instead of being tied to the table 🤍

For my mom’s surprise birthday dinner, I made everything around the idea of a beautiful dinner out of appetizers - simple, elevated, and perfect for hosting a small group.

THE MENU
Charcuterie Board
Tomato & Burrata
Cocktail Meatballs
Lemon Parmesan Pasta Salad
Feta & Olive Plate
Fresh Focaccia & Crackers

This is exactly the kind of hosting I love. Food that feels special, looks beautiful on the table, and lets everyone help themselves throughout the evening.

Saving this one for the holiday hosting season because this would make the perfect Christmas party menu. ✨

I absolutely love putting a little extra thought into special dinners and celebrations 🤍

The little details always end up meaning the most like printing photos of my mom with the grandkids, my sister and I, and all of our favourite family moments to display alongside the food.

It’s the thoughtful little touches that make the sweetest memories. ✨

Come along as I get everything ready for my mom’s surprise birthday dinner… and in my next video, I’ll show you everything I’m making for the dinner party! 🥂

Me when I remember peach season is almost over
🍑🥧

grilled peaches + creamy Greek yogurt + homemade honey nut granola = the perfect end-of-summer breakfast.

Grilled Peaches 🍑

Slice your peaches. Add a little butter to a frying pan and, over medium to medium-high heat, grill the peaches until golden on each side. Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with cinnamon, and give them a little toss. Let them caramelize beautifully.

Layer with plain Greek yogurt, grilled peaches, homemade honey nut granola + a little cinnamon and enjoy 🤍

My homemade granola recipe is coming later this week!

My famous creamy coleslaw 👩🏼‍🍳
A Better For You Basic done right.

Creamy, tangy, lightly sweet, and made with clean, simple ingredients. I always use Chosen Foods
avocado oil mayo making this a seed oil free recipe and a better for you option.

Ingredients
¾ cup avocado oil mayo (or regular mayo if you prefer)
1 tbsp Dijon
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp maple syrup
Salt & pepper, to taste
1 package coleslaw mix
(or 2 cups shredded cabbage & 1 cup shredded carrot)

Instructions
Whisk the mayo, Dijon, vinegar, maple syrup, salt, and pepper until silky.
Add the coleslaw mix and stir to fully coat.

Pro tip: Let it rest in the fridge before serving. It will become extra creamy and perfectly balanced, and it gets even better the longer it sits.

Lately, my new motto in life has been: embrace the busy. 🤍

There will always be somewhere to be, something to do, a list that needs checking off. But I’m trying to get better at noticing the little moments in between it all — enjoying my morning coffee, playing my favourite music in the car, taking the long way home, laughing with my kids, or simply slowing down for a minute.

Because the truth is, the busy isn’t going away. So instead of constantly wishing for a slower life, I’m learning to find the joy in the life I already have.

And honestly, this mindset has made my days feel so much better. ✨

It’s something I want to teach my kids too — that a full life doesn’t have to mean a stressful life. There is always something small to be grateful for, even on the busiest days.

Embrace the busy. Notice the little things. Find the joy. 🤍
