Spent the day putting our nets up to protect our delicious berries from the hungry birds. Although we love to share this amazing super fruit we want to make sure we have enough for all our human friends. Just a reminder that we still have frozen berries for all your needs.

For obvious reasons pollination is very important to us. We already have honey bees at our orchard but we want to encourage all types of bees such as Mason and Leafcutter. Our winter project was to create a few bee hotels for solitary cavity nesting bees. We will keep an eye on them and let you know how it goes.

For Easter brunch we enjoyed a delicious Haskap and Cream breakfast casserole. We went totally decadent with whipped cream and Haskap Maple syrup.
This is a fairly easy recipe and can be made ahead of time and then popped into the oven the next morning.
