Our Story

More changes this year at Namaste Farm. Lynn Bowerman will manage the fruit production at Namaste Farm for 2019. She will not be selling plant statrts or vegetables this year. She sells her produce through the Gabriola Food Hub, which delivers to its CSA customers, various restaurants and caterers and to Village Food Market. Look for Lynn’s produce with the sticker “Lynnfarms at Namaste” in your CSA box or at the market. We are also glad to take order for bulk purchase of fruit (10# or more) directly here at the farm. We can pick for you, or you can pick your own. Please call 250-247-8632 to see what we may have available.

We stoill have mulching hay available from 2018. New hay available in late June. Fruit will become available from late July onwards. Our first fruit will be Yellow Plums, Transparent apples and Desert King figs. Then Gravenstein and many other kinds of red apples through the Fall. Jonagold, Spartan and Liberty are favorites, with Golden Russet closing out the season in October.

Lots of beautiful Bradshaw and President purple plums, and several kinds of pears. Also one Quince tree bears heavily every year. Home of the Commons Namaste Allotment Gardens, started in 2013, after fencing and well and water system put in. There are unused plots (400 sqft) available. If you would like a plot, please contact Claudia Brann at 250-247-9095
