❤️ THIS POST IS NOT REALLY ABOUT APPLE PIES OR PUMPKIN PIES… IT’S ABOUT THE HEART BEHIND THEM.

We know we have posted about Suzanne’s Apple Pies and Pumpkin Pies a few times, and this may sound like the same story again. But today, we want to share something a little different.

This is not about promoting a person or a product. It is about recognizing the incredible effort of one of our seniors who is working hard—not only to make a living, but also to bring something special to our community.

Imagine this: As we sold all Pies yesterday, we requested her for more- so after working a full day elsewhere, Suzanne Heymann went home, woke up at 3:00 AM, and worked hard to prepare her homemade pies for Thanksgiving. She brought us four Apple Pies and four Pumpkin Pies—the maximum her oven could handle at one time. And perhaps, if her oven allowed it, she would have made even more.

Each pie is around 10 inches, freshly homemade, beautifully packed, with ingredients and baking instructions included—all for just $14.99 ( they almost got sold immediately).

But honestly, the price is not what touched my heart.

It was the effort.

Knowing how much work she put in, especially at her age, simply made me want to hug her. So I did. ❤️

Suzanne is doing this because she wants to contribute something to her community and help make someone’s Thanksgiving dinner a little more special.

And we are proud that Superette Foods became small part of that journey.

Suzanne, we see your hard work. We see your dedication. We see the love you put into what you do.

We love you, Suzanne, and we are proud to support you. ❤️

This is what supporting local is really about—not just buying a product, but supporting the person, the effort, and the heart behind it.

We’re so excited to share that all the Pumpkin Pies Suzanne Heymann brought to Superette have sold out!
Few Apple Pies are left and Hope Suzanne will bring some more tomorrow morning.

And there’s something even more special behind this. ❤️
We decided not to add any profit to Suzanne’s pies. We’re simply happy to keep them here for our community and support someone local.

Suzanne has always blessed us with so much love and kindness the way a mother does to her kids. She treats us like family and loves our community so deeply. We know these homemade pies will make Thanksgiving dinner even more special for many families. 🥰

This is what Supporting Local is all about — neighbours helping neighbours, sharing a little love, and making our community stronger.
