I'm hoping for a cute pair of twins for my sweet flower child Freyja this Spring. ❤️

Last year she was exposed to our billy for many months and didn't take.

It's tough when you buy mature animals and you don't know their history. We don't even know her age or if she's ever been a Mother. Maybe she's had fertility issues her whole life and has been passed from farm to farm, which would be really sad but could be reality.

With so many girls bred this season I just know I'm going to end up with baby goats in my kitchen. Bottle babies, rejected kids and babies that fail to thrive.

Animal husbandry is hard and we can only do what we can to try for the best outcomes. We'll give it 100% every single day and make sure we know our stuff. That's all we can do.
