SO LONG … //

And Thanks for all the brews.

We’ve gotten to know Miquel and Andrea over the past few years. And we’ve talked about a brew together that would make sense. This “almost a triple ipa” seemed fitting. A big tropical orange and citrus bomb that sneaks up on you.

What they’ve started at shows clear passion and unwavering standards for great tasting beers that folks want to drink. We were thrilled to make one of our last beers brewed as ABC with the future of BC craft beer.

So Long And Thanks For All the Brews - 9.5% (Big DIPA, Not Quite a Triple) made with Citra, Organic Crush and their hyper boost, along with Idaho 7 on the hot side. This beer is straight juice. Drink fresh.

Available Friday after 3pm.

LET’S OPEN A BREWERY //

It’s pretty safe to say that anyone who’s ever homebrewed has uttered the words: “Let’s open a brewery.” Your favorite brewery? Probably started by a homebrewer. Bet on it.

Your local homebrew shop has played a big part in building the craft beer scene—and we want to honour ours in the best way we can.
has been with us since the beginning. Always answering our late calls, making their shop available in the case they’ve got what we need in a pinch, and always going out of their way to help.

Curtis’s love for craft beer is obvious—not just to us, but to the many folks who support his shop in New Westminster. It’s no surprise Barley’s has been voted the best homebrew shop for many years.

This beer’s for you, .

If you’re thinking this looks like a Pale Ale, you’re right. This is our ode to their iconic pale ale—one that’s brought so many into the world of craft beer. With a recognition of the golden ears view we have from New Westminster. As we close this chapter, we’re celebrating a classic with Barleys Home brewing Supplies.

This recipe was Alex’s very first homebrew. A pale ale that sparked a love for easy-drinking beer and the journey that followed.
Try this beer at our closing party — Saturday, September 13th.
Or swing by this Friday after 3 PM for our .

Huge thank you to for supporting us, this brew, and for supporting local homebrew shops like Barley’s.

FRESH DROP FRIDAY ://

We’ve got a few fresh beers for you this weekend to try.

We have our last and final version of our You’ve Changed Hazy Pale Ale (or IPA, you choose). And fittingly, this feels like our best one yet. This beer was one of our first’s, with the idea of having a changing hazy pale ale that we could always keep the base and improve on through techniques and hop selections. We back to the basics this time. You could say we reached into the hops cabinet at ABC and threw the kitchen sink at this last one. This beer is crammed full of citra, citra cryo, Columbus, sabbro and mosaic hops. It good.

We also brought back a classic, a favourite you might say, of the brew fam. Tmavé Pivot - a dark Czech lager, is for those who love stouts but miss it for the summer; for those who love classic crisp Pilsners but looking for something new to try; for those looking for anything new on a lukr side pull tap.

Also Available on tap is our collab called Co-Ferment which is a Wine IPA (did also consider the name “for future considerations”). We decided to try to make an IPA with all the white wine flavours found in the wineries in the Okanagan. The beer was co-fermented with a strain of Sauvingon Blanc wine yeast and Hazy IPA yeast to create the lovely tropical thiol flavours found in Sauvingon Blanc wine.
It was finished with a generous dryhop featuring New Zealand Necaton and Nelson Sauvin hops to amp the wine flavours. No actual wine or grape juice added! Made in Oliver, BC
