I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything but I think this weather is great! ☀️
The hay is happily growing, the fresh greens are so green and tall and apparently taste spectacular - I’ve consulted the experts on that 🐴🐰🐓🐹
While that all does its thing, I’m working on infrastructure with a new feed shed to store all feeds for everyone in one place and am fixing my small hay building because it sustained storm damage this past year and it’s time to take things apart and make it tornado proof.
Thankfully for the super hard lifting or carrying work I have a machine, and for inspiration I have the critters and the nature here! We have gorgeous native orchids called lady slippers and they are coming out now. We have all sorts of flowering native perennials and also in the gardens lovely plants and bushes that are now blooming. 😁💕
Of course being the silly person I am, I’ve gone and bought more bushes and perennial plants which I now have to plant sometime soon haha but oh well even though it’s more work it’s happy work! Now if we could convince the mosquitos to go do their work somewhere else that would be great!!
I’ll share some more photos soon but right now I think it’s time take a break and get in out of range of the bugs!
