Attended the SOLD OUT “ ” event today, the must-attend business gathering for women entrepreneurs in York Region. Hosted by the dynamic Tracy Smith, founder of , the day was filled with inspiration and empowerment.

The lineup featured five incredible industry speakers:

The event also included live music by Millie Meribel, a movement break led by Stephen (Stiva) Sinanan, and fashion insights from Tania Tonello, a fashion stylist and TV fashion expert. What an incredible day surrounded by so many incredible women.

A heartfelt thank you to Lynnette Lanning from and from RIVERWALK WEALTH MANAGEMENT for the warm welcome and hospitality.

Grateful to have connected with so many inspiring women from our community. A big shout out to all the woman businesses who showed up and put their business on display for us to do some pre-Christmas shopping. Was wonderful to meet you all as well.

Thank You to Our Community!
I am beyond excited to share that the Southlake Foundation’s Gala, hosted on October 5, 2024, was a monumental success! We raised an incredible $3,680,000 to reimagine emergency care at Southlake.

As a proud member of the Philanthropy Cabinet, I am beyond proud of what we accomplished. The event was truly flawless, with the “who’s who” of our community coming together for an unforgettable evening. The funds raised will directly enhance the quality of emergency care at Southlake Regional Health Centre, a facility that serves over 120,000 patients annually—in a space built for just 81,000.

Our emergency department operates 24/7 with one of Ontario’s lowest wait times at an average of just 43 minutes per person! But with patient visits having doubled in the past 20 years, the need for expansion is critical.

By supporting the fundraising initiative, we are ensuring that our hospital remains a beacon of care through state-of-the-art spaces, cutting-edge equipment, and the attraction of top-tier healthcare talent.

Together, we are building the future of healthcare for our community. Let’s continue to invest in a healthier tomorrow! If you missed out, there’s still time to get involved.
