Tahitian Moon | Belgian Wheat Beer w/ Coriander & Orange Peel | 5.0% ABV

Next up this week we’ve got an extra special one. For the fourth year in a row, we had the privilege of collaborating on a recipe with our OG beertender, Adam. After brewing Adam’s hefeweizen recipe the first two years, When Worlds Collide, we changed it up last year with Tahitian Moon.

Tahitian Moon is a Belgian wheat beer built upon a base of pilsner malt, malted wheat, flaked oats and a touch of flaked rice with whirlpool additions of Indian coriander and bitter orange peel. It was fermented with Fruity Wit from our friends at before being conditioned on heaping piles of fresh orange zest.
*
Bright citrus character leads the way with a light bready malt profile and delicate floral and spice notes that give way to a crisp, clean finish. With patio season looking like it might finally be here to stay, this is the beer you’re gonna want in your hand all summer long.

For our first release of the week, we’re bringing one back from our Canvas series and moving it over to our permanent lineup under a new name, Eye Of The Tiger.
*
Eye Of The Tiger is modelled after Canvas (Nine) but with a slightly tweaked dry hop, this time hitting it with an all combo of Nectaron and Motueka.
*
Expect a juice laden drinking experience, brimming with fresh nectarine, lychee, pineapple gummies, pink grapefruit and papaya with a silky, pillowy mouthfeel.

This fruited sour series is brewed with lactose and then conditioned on fresh lemon zest and vanilla to enhance the rotating featured fruit combinations. This version highlights the jammy, citrusy blend of raspberry and cara cara orange.

Snake Eyes is a hazy pale released for the first time just last year. It features a dry hop trio of Citra, Southern Cross and Rakau that combine to deliver a unique blend of tangerine, pink grapefruit, melon, underripe mango and pineapple.

Play It Again | Hazy Double IPA w/ Nelson Sauvin, Citra & Motueka | 8.2% ABV

For the first of three releases this week, we have the return of one of our all time favourites.
*
Play It Again was one of our early hazy double IPAs, first released way back in 2020. It made its return in 2023 and after 3 more years, it’s back again and tasting better than ever.
*
Dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin and Motueka from along with some choice Citra, this one is brimming with bright, citrusy, tropical fruit character. You can expect a medley of passionfruit, cantaloupe, sauv blanc, lychee, peach and lime zest backed by a full, creamy mouthfeel and a refreshing, pithy bitterness.

We’ve also got some limited Play It Again 16oz Bristol glassware to celebrate the release. This is a limited release with only ~70 glasses available total.

Paranoid is dry hopped with heaping piles of the finest Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka we could get out hands on. This punchy hop blend combines to deliver flavours of cantaloupe, white grape, pineapple, passionfruit and pink grapefruit.

First up this week we have a very special release for a cause that’s near and dear to our hearts.
*
Best Friend was brewed for our SPCA Adopt A Dog event happening this Sunday from 12pm-3pm.
*
$2 from every can of Best Friend sold will be donated directly to the . Every can also has a QR code on the back that links you to the adoptable dogs page on the SPCA website. Check out the post we made on April 18 to read more about the details for the event itself.
*
As for the beer, this one was dry hopped with four unique lots of Nelson Sauvin generously donated from our friends at . This hop blend incorporates early, mid and late harvest Nelson Sauvin grown on their Waimea Plains, Nelson Lakes and Sunrise Valley farm locations.
*
Expect this one to drink like straight tropical fruit nectar, bursting with flavours of ripe papaya, lychee, sauv blanc, pineapple gummies, gooseberry and lime zest with a full, pillowy mouthfeel.
*
