We will serve Eel Donburi only on July 20, and 21st at Niagara Kyomart's Taste the Flavors of Japan event. 🎉

The reason why we choose to serve Eel Donburi is to celebrate Japanese practice, 土用の丑の日 (Doyō no Ushi no Hi). In English it's translated to The Midsummer Day of the Ox. It is a traditional Japanese day that typically falls in late July. It's associated with eating eel (unagi) to gain stamina and strength during the hottest days of summer, known as the "dog days" or "midsummer days" in English. Eel is nutritious and rich in vitamins. Let's eat eel donburi and overcome this intense summer heat. 🌊☀️
