Students looking for summer farm-work experience?

Grimo Nut Nursery is partnering with the Ontario Hazelnut Association to fill a Canada Summer Jobs position. The job includes field work, data collection and data entry, research, pruning and other outdoor farm work that and involves lifting, bending, crouching and stooping. The applicant must be profiencient with spreadsheet applications and be able to do some social media design.
They will work at several farm locations between Niagara on the lake and Jordan and require their own transportation. These are rural locations and public transportation is not available.
It is rain or shine with some flexibility.
The position is 30 hours per week for 8 weeks and pays minimum wage.

SONG SPRING AUCTION

The SONG plant auction is an enjoyable afternoon learning about all things nutty. Every year is different but often includes nut and unusual fruit trees, interesting berries, heirloom tomatoes, and much more.
All are invited to join us for a fun afternoon!

Members are invited to bring their plants, seeds or interesting nutty items. Email Grimo ahead of time to let us know what you would like to
bring.
The auction begins at 1 pm but come early to check out the items and to visit !!
