Why we ventilate our honey boxes showing boxes that are ventilated and showing boxes that we have not yet ventilated you can see on the nonventilated, honey Supers, but these are outside clustering because it’s too hot inside I started to add this practice into my operation a couple of years back tell me what you think. March 5, 2025 Niagara On The Lake checking on our double nukes resource hives, dropping some fondant if they needed it and out of the 12 resources that we have only one of them was dead. Successful was great this year.

March 05/2025 I have 11° today. Thought I’d go through and check on the nukes. Check them for weight. See how their food is holding up and I discovered that I needed to get some fondant on the rest of them because they were days away of starving to death so glad I went out and checked on himoverwintering it was pretty good. We overwintered 49 colonies in total and we only lost six so far but now that I’ve got food on them, they should be able to make it until we can drop some syrup in a few weeks 23 weeks.
