Our Honey Extraction & Winterizing Beekeeping Classes in Niagara-on-the-Lake are just weeks away, and spots are already filling.

If you’re planning to harvest honey this season or want to make sure your hive survives the winter, this hands-on class will walk you through exactly what to do (and what to avoid).

In this class, you’ll learn:
- When and how to extract honey properly
- How much honey to leave for your bees
- What to do with frames after extraction
- How to prepare your hive for winter in Ontario conditions

Most people only eat the honey and leave the best part behind.

Real honeycomb isn’t just raw honey, it’s the entire hive in its most natural form. Along with the honey, you’re also getting the beeswax, propolis, bee pollen, and traces of royal jelly, all exactly as the bees made it.
