From flowers to fruit.

Just a short time ago, our vineyard was in bloom. Now we’ve reached fruit set—the stage where successfully pollinated flowers begin developing into tiny grapes.
These little berries may only be a few millimetres across, but they’re the beginning of this year’s vintage. From here, they’ll continue to grow, ripen, and develop the flavours that make Niagara wines so distinctive.
📸 Featured here are two very different varieties growing in our vineyard: Chardonnay Clone 96, prized for producing elegant, expressive wines, and Vidal, a Canadian favourite known for its bright acidity and, of course, its role in world-class Icewine.
