We are all looking forward to 2022 and the adventures to come 🙃 We all can’t wait for the shows, clinics, camping and lots of trail time with the whole fam! We will be looking at a full 2022 lesson season starting some time in May 😉 now that we have the kids arena, the round pen and big arena ready for for all our riders! But I think we’re all most excited for all the horsey road trips to come!!! 😊 #2022

Always be you!! This is a great post.

The fancy girl on the left can brand calves, change tires, bale hay, flank bulls, calve cows, back big rigs, build fence, fix water gaps, ride horses, rope calves, doctor pink eye and run a ranch.

The cowgirl on the right can do all those same things with a manicure and a little lipstick.

This is your public service announcement that if you judge a book by its cover, you just might miss the best ending yet.

Last week was a doozie in social media land 🙄, but what I discovered is that many of the narrow minded narratives being thrown at me from behind a keyboard are being thrown at cowgirls and cowboys in real life.

I received so many messages from both men and women who have been made to feel less than and like they will never be fully welcomed into so many agriculture based communities.

What a bunch of bullsh . I’m here to tell you those people aren’t your people.

I’m here to tell you nobody really cares that much if your cowboy hat is on backwards.

I’m here to tell you if you want to wear fake eyelashes and lipstick to the branding pen, then go on with your bad self cowgirl.

I’m here to tell you if you want to wear your Air Jordan’s with your Wranglers then giddy on up cowboy.

This mindset that you must be born into this way of life to be respected is outdated and small minded. This implied notion that you must know all the answers and be able to do all the things is ridiculous.

I’m here to tell you each one of us started somewhere. Yes, even 5th and 6th generation farmers and ranchers started out not knowing anything. Yes even we mess up. Yes even we look silly sometimes. Yes even we are too quick to judge. Yes even we are learning.

Basically all this 👆🏻is my long way of saying I won’t stop spreading this message that anyone can embrace the cowgirl and cowboy lifestyle. Last week proves it’s needed now more than ever. This is my way of saying I’ll never stop trying to bridge the gap. This is my way of saying is just getting started.

A work in progress ☺️... I’m super excited about the changes we’re making to the arena and barn for 2021!! Can’t wait to get lessons going in a few weeks and see everyone again! It’s been a long Coivd 😖 Hoping to get started with the riders who are a little more experienced first, and then we will be messaging all our younger and newer students to start when the horses are in better shape 😜🙌🏻 #2021
