Right now, every haskap berry in our fields is doing the same quiet work.

What was tiny and green a few weeks ago is turning deep purple, almost black. Picking up colour. Building sugar. Becoming the wine you'll eventually pour. 🍷

Harvest is just weeks away. Every walk through the rows looks a little different than the last. The plants know what they're doing. We're just here to pay attention. 😌

Rosé doesn't have to come from grapes!

Ours starts with haskap berries and gets a touch of apple wine blended in for a gentle sweetness. The result is a rosé with bright acidity, subtle herbal notes, and juicy hints of raspberry, plum, and haskap. Light, fresh, and easy to enjoy.

Pour it cold on a warm afternoon. Pair it with grilled fish, a summer salad, or whatever you're making on a beautifully sunny day. ☀️

It's something someone teaches you. ❤️

For a lot of us, it was a mother or grandmother who showed us why the details matter. Who made an ordinary dinner feel a little more special. Who knew that the right glass of wine, the right pause, the right kind of attention could turn a regular Tuesday into something worth remembering.

We thought about those women while we were bottling this year's wine. About inherited taste. About the little lessons we picked up just by being around someone who cared about doing things well.

Here's to the women who taught us how to slow down, savour, and pay attention to what's in our glass. 🍷

April is when the farm comes back to life. 🌱

The haskap plants start budding. The fields that looked empty all winter suddenly have green showing through. And we're back out there doing what our families have done for three generations: working the land, checking every row, watching the weather.
