It’s that time of year again. We are open for business and ready to serve returning and new customers. Jody and Jonathan have been very busy this summer getting ready for the big game season. We some equipment upgrades and building improvements.

This year our hours of operation will be:

Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm
Saturday: 9am to 4pm
Sunday: Closed
Closed for lunch each day: 12pm to 1 pm

We WILL be open on Sunday, September 13 this week only!

As most of you know, our day starts well before 8 am and well past 5pm but these are the hours we will be accepting moose.

Sunday will be used for a little rest and preparation for the coming week.

Also this year we will be enforcing pick up times. We will give customers 24 hours to pick up your processed meat in October. There are some exceptions that we will consider. A fee of $10 per day will be added if not picked up after 24 hours.

We have limited freezer space and things can fill up really quickly. Even with the additional freezer space, we know it will still be hard to accommodate holding processed meat.

We appreciate each and every customer and can’t wait to see you all and celebrate on your successful hunt!

🫎 THE 2026 BIG GAME LICENCE DRAW HAS FINALLY BEEN COMPLETED ACROSS NL! 🫎

The wait is finally over for thousands of hunters across Newfoundland and Labrador! The 2026 big game licence draw has now officially been completed and emails will begin rolling out over the coming days.

Not everyone will receive their notification at the same time, so don’t panic if your buddy gets theirs before you do. 👀

Now the big question…

🎄🤶🎅🏻🎄Christmas Hours 🎄🎅🏻🤶🎄

We will be accepting moose 🫎 until December 23. The meat shop will be closed from December 24 - 28. We will accept more moose 🫎 on Monday, December 29.

Do you have any moose 🫎 in your freezer from last year? Drop it off to us and we can make some burgers, sausages or mince meat for you. Call Jody at 7095711367 to arrange drop off. 🙂
