🎉🌳🤤 Birch syrup... have you tried it?!

And if you've already tasted it, then you know it's a unique and delicious treat worth checking out!

🧡 Birch sap contains much less sugar than maple sap, so it takes a lot more sap to produce a small amount of syrup! It's quite the process, and each drop is a super special labour of love.

Birch syrup varies in flavour slightly depending on the harvest timing, individual syrup making process, and species of tree...

But most often it has a rich, dark, earthy and tangy flavour with a deep, complex caramel or coffee-like taste. 🤯

👨‍🍳👩‍🍳✨️ And, because of this syrup's bold flavour, a little can go a long way. So have fun experimenting with it!

You can:

🥩 Add it to marinades, sauces & glazes
🥕 Mix it up with roasted vegetables
🎂 Try a sweet and savoury dessert recipe
🧀 Combine with meats, fruits and cheeses for a sweet and savoury charcuterie addition
