🇳🇵 A Personal Call for Support for Nepal 🇳🇵
My heart is heavy as I watch the devastating impact of the recent floods and flash floods in Nepal. This tragedy is deeply personal to me.
As a social worker, I have had the privilege of working with and supporting communities in the Rasuwagadhi area, where the devastating flash flood has caused unimaginable loss and destruction. I have met people there, shared their stories, and witnessed the strength and resilience of these beautiful communities. Seeing this devastation from so far away has left me heartbroken.
The tragedy has become even more personal as a friend who helping a pilgrimage trip to the affected region is still missing. We are holding onto hope and praying for their safe return, while our hearts remain with all the families still waiting for news of their loved ones.

*A fundraiser donation jar will be available at the café from Aug 28 to Sep 2
*Raffle tickets will be available for a Wellness Gift Basket ticket is $5 for one and $10 for 3 tickets
All donations will be directed to the PMO Disaster Relief Fund in Nepal.
