Well, this is exciting!….🐓📖

Stargazer Farm has been invited to be featured in an upcoming coffee-table book celebrating the beautiful farm stands of the Peninsula.

Our little farm stand will be photographed by www.janisjean.com and preserved alongside others that make this corner of Vancouver Island so special.

Feeling very honoured—and a little bit giddy about it. 🤍

Nothing fancy. Just farm-fresh eggs, a good loaf of bread, and Martha Stewart’s egg salad recipe. Sometimes the classics really are the best. 🥚🍞

Once you try Martha’s egg salad sandwich, you may not go back to your old recipe. She adds a whole avocado for creaminess, Dijon mustard and lemon juice for brightness, plus a few tablespoons of light mayonnaise to bring the whole thing together. We love it sandwiched between toasted slices of white sandwich bread. Get the recipe at the link below. ⬇️

The farm stand will start carrying tomato starts in a few weeks. This year's selection features our traditional favorites, including Beefsteak, Mortgage Lifter, Roma, Sweetie, Carolina Gold, Pink Brandywine, and a new addition, Roadster. 🍅

We lost our sweet Lily🤍 We had 10 wonderful years together and she was loved dearly. The farm is so quiet now and won’t be the same without her. She was the gentle soul who loved her ear scritches and was the good girl to her sisters’s mischief. She was a companion to my son during the pandemic when friends were scarce. We will miss her always. Thank you Lily for all your love and goaty antics. You were so special. 💔
