HAND UP IPA
Hey everyone! We wanted to tell you about a new project we’ve been working on. We at Beva, along with our friends at , have joined to create a new beer: Hand Up IPA. The purpose of this collaboration is to promote awareness, raise funds, and collect donated items for Harvest Project’s initiatives here on the North Shore.
A little bit about Harvest Project:
Harvest Project is a community-based urban relief organization and registered Canadian charity. Harvest Project serves the North Shore, ‘extending a hand up’ to those in need. They provide assistance to residents from Deep Cove in the East to Horseshoe Bay in the West. Since 1993, they’ve connected with hundreds of people each month – providing one-to-one client-coaching and active-listening, a rent bank, a grocery-support program, clothing support, assistance for workforce re-entry, food recovery and redistribution, and recently their retail Clothes For Change Thrift Boutique.
Beginning on our release day, Saturday, May 9th, Beva will donate $1 to Harvest Project from every pint of Hand Up IPA sold in our taproom. We’ll also collect donations on behalf of Harvest Project here in the taproom from May 9th to May 16th. Check out the second slide on this post to learn more about the items they need most. Join us at Beva on Saturday May 9th to try our new beer, make a donation, and learn more about this local organization helping our community here on the North Shore!
