Is it *already* almost Labour Day Weekend?! My goodness, where does the time go? We're so looking forward to seeing you, as always, from tomorrow (Thursday) to Sunday 11-4 w/fresh sourdough, soft pretzels, soft sourdough cookies, spongy focaccia and a slew of other tasty treats in our fridges, freezers, shelves. 🥨🥖 🍪 And of course, excellent coffee! ☕🖤

Gratitude, focus, and care. ❤️ 🧡 It is flowing here at New Grain - so grateful for how much you're flooding our doors, enjoying what we have to offer, staying a while to chat. 🌀🙏

To those of you who are new to us, we're a tight team of 6 - focused on making great things, and channeling the amazing quality of our region and that of elsewhere in Northern Ontario. Excellent product, top quality espresso-based drinks , baked goods and more. Everything we make, aside from our pretzels, are sourdough (including the cookies!). This means naturally leavened, crafted with patience, skill, fermentation...and a lot of heart. 🪄 🍪

Everything we use or sell, from the ingredients in our sandwiches to the cheeses, meats, ferments stocked in our fridges and freezer, are carefully selected to support and highlight the farmers and craft producers we know personally. 💪🔥

We're open Thursday to Sunday 11-4 at 37 Corbiere Road in the heart of Manitoulin, in M'Chigeeng First Nation. Find us on Google Maps in the same building as the incredible indigenous business 🎨, who are open 10-2 Mon-Saturday - visit them and be blown away!

What a slice of paradise we live in! Peak summer for stargazing, swimming, winding drives, spending time with those we love. 🌊 🌞

Thanks and miigwech so much for coming into New Grain! A reminder that we're open Thursday to Sunday from 11-4. Lots of baked goods, incredible coffee, stocked grocer fridges representing the beautiful, massive area we live in - plus great service. 🥰 Ever thankful for a focused and intentional team that you all get to know and see in action! 🫶🥨☕

Thanks for such a rockin' Thursday!! We're flying through coffees, and no wonder - with beans freshly roasted from legends in Leeburn (detour and visit them if you head towards the Soo!), our vintage lever espresso machine much like you'd find in Rome, and the talent behind making your bevies - ❤

To that effect - WE'RE HIRING another barista/front of house to join our team. If you are interested in being part of a strong crew of people dedicated to excellence, fast on your feet, have a vehicle or are within walking distance please apply! ☕🥰 Pref given to M'Chigeengers. 🫶 🪶

✨Why hello hello ✨ to you gorgeous folks on this rainy island paradise! 🌧 ...and anyone else viewing our business from a distance, of course. 😏

We are *so* looking forward to seeing you tomorrow and throughout the weekend!! We're open Thursday to Sunday 11-4, serving up a large variety of freshly baked sourdough bread, sourdough cookies, sd sweet and savoury focaccia, a variety of pretzels, freshly made sammies, iced and hot coffees using beans roasted by champions of excellence ☕ 🙌

We also have a bunch of fresh produce and farm fresh eggs from the West End of the island : Plane View Farms, plus from Amish friends who are not on social media. Gut-friendly and oh so delicious fermented items include a restock on (their kimchi is the best around, seriously magic🫰🪄). In our freezer there are numerous cuts of beef from the Island Pure Island Beef, whole rabbit from Massey, rainbow trout harvested from Sheshegwaning (which we use for the smoked fish we do in house 🔥 you'll find in our fridge), Northern Ontario cheeses from skilled Northern cheesemakers and , tallow-based skincare from Ontario-based power company , teas, salves and skincare from , maple syrup and honey from the Island (Tehkummah) . Not to mention our drinks fridge is fully loaded with crafted bevvies from producers around Ontario 🥰
..basically a *whole lot of goodness* awaits you at 37 Corbiere Road in M'Chigeeng on Manitoulin Island. Find us on maps if you haven't visited us before. ❤

You so totally amp us up each week! ❤️‍🔥 We're open tomorrow (Thursday), Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11-4, stocked and ready to rock 🎸with delicious product and freshly baked sourdough. Come early as we do get mobbed! 🙌

Litres of maple syrup and honey from , produce, eggs, summer sausage and pepperettes from our amazing amish farmers and Plane View Farms. We are freshly stocked up with delectable cheeses from and , incredible cuts from Pure Island Beef, ready-to-eat house smoked rainbow 🐟 from Sheshegwaning glazed in pinecone syrup, drinks from local producers, die cast 🫰pasta, the flour we use from , teas, salves and antler jewellery from , tallow based skincare from power-house business , and MORE.

It sure is ominous out there; we're especially thinking of our friends in the Northwest. 😮‍💨

In any case, we'll be open Thursday (tomorrow) to Sunday from 11 to 4 and as always look forward to seeing you. 💖

👏 A wide selection of sourdough loaves, sd focaccia, sd cookies, sd maple buns, pretzels, sandwiches, drinks, premium coffee and all the rest. 👏

Thanks to for stocking us up with freshly roasted beans we'll be grindin' for our espresso based drinks this week ☕ 🙏. And to Pure Island Beef for topping us up with a variety of cuts of their top shelf beef from the West end🐂. Strawberries have come to an end, but we have eggs, radishes, scapes, sweet peas, house smoked rainbow and more in the produce fridge. Plus more top-tier Amish summer sausage, horseradish, ferments, vinegars, cheeses, jam, maple butter, teas, skin care - all sourced from Manitoulin, Northern Ontario or elsewhere in Ontario - how we keep it! 🥰

Our first Thursday at 37 Corbiere Road is officially in the books! Thanks for your amazing custom and the energy you bring to our space! 🤝🥰

Facebook maps won't allow a clear map to where we are located. So! To all of you who have been asking on FB, to find us - search in Google Maps and it will lead you right to us - 37 Corbiere Road in M'Chigeeng FN on Manitoulin Island. If you have any issues, please text 705-920-9125. If you'd like to pre-order bread you can also text this number the day before you intend to arrive and we'll make sure bread is set aside for you for pick-up. To everyone else dropping in, do come early! Items go quick.

It also looks like you've discovered our fantastic coffee, a combo of having high-class beans from one of the finest in Northern Ontario - the ever meticulous , as well as great baristas and a vintage Italian machine. Iced and hot options available to takeaway and enjoy as a well-crafted treat to your day.
