And The Journey Continues...
A little over a year ago, after having enough people over the years tell me that my home-made booch was the best they’ve ever tasted, I decided to dive deep into the land of kombucha brewing! With a huge helping hand from some local businesses, namely sharing a kitchen with the lovely folks at The Island Jar in Little Current, I jumped into the wonderful and wild world of fermented things. The grand idea behind my booch is actually quite straightforward: high quality organic ingredients and bold, simple flavors. I’m not trying to sell you a health drink (though it does have its benefits), just trying to share something that I find truly delicious!
This season, I am starting the journey towards building my own nano-brewery, with the goal of creating new flavors and a drink that can be offered on tap, and in larger quantities than before. Over the course of the winter, you will see my face reaching out and connecting with the Sudbury crowd, expanding off the wonderful Island that is Manitoulin.
