PUBLIC NOTICE
April 9th, 2026.
After nearly 12 incredible years of brewing, serving, and connecting on Manitoulin Island and throughout Ontario, we share with full and grateful hearts that Manitoulin Brewing Company will be closing its doors.
This decision has not come easily. Like many in our industry, we have felt the impact of changing market conditions and evolving challenges that have made it increasingly difficult to continue operating in a sustainable way. After thoughtful consideration, we have chosen to close this chapter with intention, pride, and respect for what has been built.
From the very beginning, this company was about more than beer. It was about community, relationships, and creating a place where people could gather, celebrate, and feel at home.
We are deeply thankful to everyone who has been part of this journey—our loyal customers, dedicated staff, local partners, suppliers, and the Manitoulin Island community who supported us year after year.
We are proud of what we created together. The memories, friendships, and shared experiences will carry forward long after our doors close.
As we move into what comes next, we do so with gratitude for the past and optimism for the future.
