Sweets Creek Acres Beef You Can Believe In Sweets Creek Acres all started with one cow named Lucy.

We bought her and her bull calf to help our horses keep our pasture grass trimmed. Little did we know that the arrival of Lucy would lead us to a love and passion for Pinzgauer cows, Pinzgauer meat and good home grown, grass finished beef.

While I was milking our sweet Marabelle this morning, I decided cats and jersey calves have a lot more in common than most people realize!! Daisy, our jersey cross calf was tickling my neck by chewing on my hair and licking me...anyone able to ignore that and keep milking?? Not me!
My list:
1. They like to be where you don't want them to be.
2. They beg for attention at times when you're busy.
3. They both have scratchy tongues.
4. "Go away" means "Keep at it" to them.
5. They both love milk.

The meat chickens are off!! And good thing too because the coyote was licking her chops beside their pen at 4am. She likes pasture raised chicken too I guess. Can't say I blame her to be honest!
